At a depth of 800 meters under the waters of the Pacific Ocean, scientists have found a fish that has not yet been able to correlate with any other underwater inhabitant of the depths – it has an almost transparent head.
In terms of its transparency, Macropinna, the so-called fish, is closer to jellyfish but has nothing to do with them. This is a real fish with fins and a tail.
Scientists have long heard the stories of fishermen about a strange transparent fish but considered their fiction.
Until one day, quite by accident, a macro pinna hit the camera lens.
The most interesting thing is that the eyes of the fish are inside the head, and not outside. Fish look at the world through the liquid that fills their head.
While little is known about the habits and behavior of the Macropinna, scientists are too rare to conduct regular observations.
